DinkDen is first and foremost a family business. Alexander and Marc, our founders, are oldest and youngest brothers in a family of five. They grew up in Mexico City, where they developed a passion for racquet sports from a young age.
Alexander moved to Evanston, IL in 2018 to earn his MBA and to Austin in 2020, where both of his sons were born. He has a background in institutional finance, having worked at the Mexican Central Bank, Dimensional Fund Advisors and PNC Bank.
Marc lives and breathes sports. He moved to Florida to pursue his career in professional sports, where he worked for the Florida Panthers, before moving to Pittsburgh, PA for grad school and subsequently joined Clover as a Product Lead for their Sports and Entertainment business.
You can expect to find their families (and dogs) at DinkDen at any time, and if you catch their father Leon at the club, consider yourself lucky since he’s one of the wisest people you’ll meet. Don’t hesitate to say “Hola!” if you want to practice your Spanish.
